Alve is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The breathing techniques and exercises provided on this platform are for educational and wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or physician before beginning any new breathwork or wellness practice, especially if you have a history of cardiovascular disease, respiratory illness, high blood pressure, asthma, epilepsy, or are pregnant. If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort while using Alve, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
2. Use of the Application
Alve grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to abuse the service, attempt to bypass security measures, or use the platform for any illegal activities.
3. Intellectual Property
While the geometric ratios and ancient breathing techniques themselves (such as Box Breathing or Nadi Shodhana) belong to the public domain, the specific implementation, code, design, audio assets, and unique visual representations on Alve are the intellectual property of Alve and are protected by copyright laws.
4. As-Is Provision
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, completely secure, or error-free.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alve and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the application, including but not limited to any physical or psychological effects resulting from the breathing exercises.
